The spirit of family

In Haiti we don't celebrate Thanksgiving as in America but we have something special.

The January 1st we have a special holiday. It is family day. We can really feel the spirit of love and happiness. We celebrate this holiday all the family together, after we visit our grand aunt, or others relatives.

In the menu we have a special " Giromon soup". Early at the morning we prepare the soup, then the family meet and we eat it. Most of the time the family went out to visit the other that couldn't be present. The whole day is part of the activity.
I like the idea of Thanksgiving It remind me my January first in my country. Both are similar ,the difference is the time. The thanksgiving is a special dinner and the other one is special lunch.

that a nice family

this family seems to be happy. the parents even they are busy most of the time, they have time for their children.Mr Obama said that he loves having time with his kids. He reads books with them, plays with them and ect.... that a good thing to encourage.Now the thing changed, I hope that will be the same. The kids will feel lonely even they have everything they want. I hope their live will be full with love affection and happiness.

the speeches. Obama and Mc Cain

I watched the two speeches and they was really special.the two speeches was great.One of the things the had in common is that Senator Mc Cain and Senator congradulate each other for their courages their strengs to fight. Senator Obama said to Senator Mc Cain that he fought long and harder than he could imagine. He congradulate him.Senator Mc Cain recognize that his opponement done a great a job.
I think this point was different in Mc Cian speech.He said that his defeat came from himself not from his supporters.

The two speeches touch me a lot. I think the Obama's speech was more expressive. when you see all those people crying i from of the TV that was emotive. It is like they came from so far. It was like a dream finally come true.
